Meet the Author
Chloe Pak, born and raised in Georgia, is a third year medical student with a strong interest in child advocacy and pediatric mental health. Throughout high school, college, and medical school, she volunteered extensively with children, including teaching English to refugee children through City Hope, participating in arts and crafts programs at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and promoting healthy lifestyles among the youth through Fit Together, a community-based fitness program. She is passionate about promoting emotional and mental well-being in children, particularly as they navigate new health challenges. In her free time, Chloe loves arts and crafts (knitting, crocheting, embroidering, anything really!), reading, spending time with her friends and her dog, and exploring cooking and baking. Through this project, she hopes to empower children in taking care of their health by fostering confidence, self-esteem, and understanding through cultural storytelling.
